I have been having a hard time getting a full night’s rest. And my body is suffering from being ill. But I went ahead and got up at 6:30 this morning to get in a little run. This is what has to happen when I foresee a very crazy busy day ahead!
So I put on my spikey shoes, grabbed a bike light an hit the Lunch Loops. Slowly. Gently. Didn’t want my lungs to freak out or anything. Ran up Pet, down Tabby. Fun stuff. Didn’t watch the sun rise, but I did enjoy the sky turning from black to the pale blue.
I love the mornings. How sad for me that I had forgotten this over the last couple of months. It is encouraging to remember how I love my pre-dawn workouts. I think I’m going to start hitting it hard again. Gots to get this ol body in shape for the race next month!
