Melinda and I both had to get out. Sometimes after you sit at your computer for a long time, the idea of being all hot and sweaty but on a trail sounds really, really good.

We didn’t have very long, so we met in the east side of the monument and went for a short run down into Echo Canyon and back.

Part of my realization from yesterday was that I’m not just going to accept myself as I am, but also my life as it is. So what if no one wants to hire me for a full-time job? I quit my full-time job to be a full-time mom. I’m STILL a full-time mom. And I’m going to take full advantage of that fact.
